About

Great Lakes Violins is a string shop and workshop at 5767 Mayfield Road in Cleveland, Ohio. We sell and rent violins, violas, cellos, double basses and bows, and repair, restore and rehair them in our own workshop.

Close to the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Institute of Music and Oberlin Conservatory, we work for students, teachers and professional players alike: instruments are chosen by ear, set up before they are offered, and adjusted free for as long as you own or rent them.
